i mean
for me its not that theres fantasy
its that it feels like theres no real reason for any of it
every item in the shop except for real animals etc
feels like its under this umbrella excuse of 'radiation so it works'
like
when i am in sci fi or fantasy i want realism within its OWN Rules yknow?
like....its entirely a free for all and like
i love freedom for characters but like at a certain point it makes no sense
you can have all this stuff lmao but theres a difference between realistic roleplay where its based on the real world and realism where you make your own rules for an entirely new world like wnr
theres just rlly no worldbuilding or lore besides 'hey we can do w/e we want because nothing has any system or sense or reasoning to it' except for an umbrella reasoning and it just makes it so like...i cant craft a history on that, i cant weave the world into my writing bc there isnt a world.
im not saying its necessarily inherently bad its just why its turned me off from the beginning.
