[glow=red,2,300]TIGERSTAR -- TAGS[/glow]
The rustling of the foliage alerted him of another cat, sturdy and short with bluish fur, Tigerstar immediately recognized the tom as Stonestar, ThunderClan's newest leader. At first he was willing to be friendly, his lips curling at the sides with a small smile, dimpling his scarred, ruined cheeks. Then he noticed the glare, and light green yellow eyes shot toward the huge RiverClanner's broad shouldered, muscular features, dangerous optics of blistering gold holding the gaze with a fearsome intensity. What a fool, he internally laughed. The words that tumbled past Stonestar's mouth added fuel to the fire, but the grin remained, plastered across Tigerstar's toothy expression, even as claws, razor tipped talons with a pearly reflective exterior curled and coiled into the soft soil beneath his large, rounded paws.
"I'm sorry, what was that? I couldn't hear anything over the sound of yer foolishness. Talkin' to me like that, hah!" He shot back smoothly, a low chuckle dripping past lethal incisors, strong jaws closing shut with an exaggerated snap. He'd enjoy this. "I ought to skin you alive, use yer pelt to warm me den, oh but first, yer apprentice, was it? How about I chew off his little paws, snap them off like twigs, if you will, and decorate me camp with them. They'll sit nicely with the seashells, don't ya think, Cherryspark?" Tigerstar addressed the warrior that had accompanied him in a playful voice, side eyeing the other feline before his focus returned and leveled upon Stonestar. "Of course, you could just say that yer sorry fer the little warning, unnecessary, might I add. I'd, of course, be kind enough to drop all thought of my playful intentions."
Then his pupils, coals swathed in burning, explosive flame, drifted back toward Parker. "Yes, but, but, but but but, being frowned upon can be worth it, if it means teachin' some-cat a lesson in respect." The smile that slithered across his face was devious and venomous, like the grin of a devil's serpent. "Oh, I'm just kiddin' with the lot of ya, heh. At least, I think I am. Maybe not. Who can say? My mind is beyond even me sometimes!" It was true enough, and he spoke with a casualness as if he were talking about the weather, a small jolt of laughter drifting past his barbed tongue. The absurd stattements might as well have been a joke to the RiverClan leader. He wasn't taking the situation as seriously as one might think. He was simply having a bit of fun, and in Tigerstar's eyes, there was nothing wrong with that. "Oh, and that awful fishy stench? Oh yes, yer mentor is right, better remember that, one day it'll be all over sunningrocks, heh heh." One thing was certain by the darkness in his tone, that statement hadn't been a joke. ThunderClan would be safe for awhile yet, but one day, one day....
