✼ he first started to get into music.. well, since forever. his mom sang to him when he was younger and he became so fascinated and listened to music 24/7 as he grew older. it was just something he wanted to pursue for as long as he could remember.
✼ he got his first guitar when he was 12! he didn't learn until he was 13, though. he picked up on it quick, too.
✼ he met the love of his life when he was in his junior year of high school. well, they had acknowledged one another before multiple times in the past but things never started getting serious until then.
✼ he found out later in the relationship about the work finn was in. it's all so much to explain, so i'll link finn's bio here since twistie can explain it better anyway. things took a sharp turn and all chris did was worry. he rarely got a good amount of sleep due to being so fearful of finn's safety. thus, his sleep schedule is fucked up and he hasn't really been able to get it straight. always going to sleep at some ungodly hour.
✼ finn and him broke up once which pushed finn to actually do smth and get out of the whole shit with the pimp and get him jailed. once chris saw this and realized how much he missed him, he went back.
✼ [ tw: sexual assault ] probably not long after, chris was alone and was ambushed by one of the guys working for the pimp and you can just imagine. beat to a pulp. chris was a mess when he was able to somehow get back/call finn or idr what happened but he managed to 1) get finn and 2) they went to the cops.
✼ due to that traumatic experience, he never left the bed and rarely ate. this is when depression really hit him. finn would have to help him go to the shower, get dressed/remind him to get dressed, get him to eat, etc. and would have to manage to convince him to go the therapy cause yes chris ended up starting therapy shortly after his physical recovery. for a while, physical contact was hard and he'd flinch from finn at times. even now he still does, especially when things are getting heated between them[not fights, the other heated. *side-eyes emoji*].
✼ chris was prescribed anti-depressants and finn always reminds him to take them<3.
✼ they broke up a second time[chris, again, being the one to end it] due to finn relapsing and shiiiii yeahhh. it didn't last too long?? the break up. a few months maybe but it felt like years and chris went back after finn swore he would try and that he'd stay committed to getting better. and he did!! which chris is so extremely proud of. he stuck by finn and helped him through it all, especially when it got real bad, because he loves finn sm and the fact he was getting better and making progress made him so proud and happy.
✼ when he drinks he's a fucking child to be quite honest. he's clingy and always tries stealing hugs, cuddles, or kisses[w/ finn].
