She's not opposed, but for someone who had grown up with her two parents, a dog, and a bunch of animals, she's found it a little... Overwhelming. Roque was the gentler kind, and she has no trouble with him, but the likes of Cat — well, it's easy to call her a little wary. She pauses upon hearing that voice, but eventually finds her way outside, still with a washcloth between her hands. Jo had been doing her best to clean up some of the dust around the place, just in preparation of the rest of their moving. The upside to the cleaning was how it kept her hands from the black oil and dirt that usually muddied them. Her face wasn't quite as lucky, a few streaks still smeared near her cheeks, but the director looked more put together than usual in thick flannel and jeans.

"That's enough," she says, though her tone is more motherly than stern as she looks at Cat. It was one thing for their members to be wary — she could understand that — but it was another to threaten them. Trying not to shiver at the cold that immediately bites despite her extra layers, Jo takes a few slow steps until she's in front of both Cat and Roque. "It's alright." The assurance is meant for everyone, her hands gently raised in a gesture of peace. "Come inside. No more knives, I promise."
