she'd salvaged a half dozen things on higher shelves that had survived it all. it wasn't much - a pair of shoes from the closet, a snowglobe, kurt and haskill's cages, a few books, a few shirts. she'd already started to acquire little things, started making a new home for herself in her hotel room, and at this point, why bother moving out? she'd gotten situated, it was at a good location, easy access to most people. so she'd already decided to stay, to call her room home. her new wardrobe was hand-me-down mess, and perhaps that would explain why kit looked... well, put together in a sense. her two pairs of jeans were dirty, so she'd ended up wearing a skirt. nothing particularly outstanding; black, fitted, knee length - it didn't call much attention to it. the blouse, a dark red thing, was one of the salvaged items. she didn't really mind the look, in truth; with her sisters showing up, all as classy as she'd once been, it was nice to look like a real beaumont girl for once. her hair was even pulled into the familiar french twist she'd worn the first twenty-or-so years of her life.

she found herself a seat, watching the boss speak attentively, and she nodded in acknowledgement both times she was mentioned - even offering theo and dokte nods at their turns. heart title? well, she supposed that was nice. she did like knew people, after all. the meeting seemed close to conclusion when charlie asked for questions, and since the blonde had none, she only glanced around, waiting for someone to appear with some.

using this to test b/c why not
