I agree keeping up with natural hair is hard and I’ve never had to deal with coarse hair, so I can only imagine mine is painful as it is (which is mostly why I like to straighten it bc it’s easier to manage) but yes you should at least wear it for a week?

i think i'll wear it for about a week, and if it still works out and i don't get the money for box braids before like april then i'll keep up the afro
