She took a deep breath, and swallowed. Honestly, she regretted almost every moment she had spent in Northstar was a serious regret in her mind, and while she would do her best to care for and love the child she was pregnant with, she wasn't sure how the hell she was supposed to do that, or tell him... what was she going to tell him? Hi there dude I slept with once. I'm pregnant... Yeah that would go over well.
The woman crossed her arms over her chest and looked on with actual terror on her face. She was like a deer in the headlights. She moved back slightly, and pushed her hand towards Parks's hand. Hopefully the woman would hold it, it would make things more comforting, and easier to... get this shit done with. As he stated his purpose, she noted mutely, words robbed from her throat, her mouth dry, and her tongue paralyzed by fear. Finally words found her, and she stammered an awkward, "Thank you." Her face a mix of terror and anguish.
The grey eyed woman was unsure how she was going to go about this, how she was going to tell this man he would be a father. Her lips parted the flesh sticking to itself from the dryness of her mouth. "I..." She started, "You..." God spit it out Courtney... spit it out woman. Her face was a combination of sadness and terror now. "I'm pre-" She stopped, "I'm pregnant." She finally spat out. How else was she supposed to say it?
