planet kestro
planet kestro is about a two-earth-years journey away from earth. it's time runs very similar, and there are some similar customs and appearances. however, on kestro, there are no automobiles or factories, and no pollution. the sky often changes colors, and the planet has no moon, and a bright star similar to the sun that gives them their days, and during nights, stars are always completely visible, and the sky looks like a galaxy painting. the land is lush and very green on all sides, and the weather is very moderate all year round, with predictable rainy days - basically, kestro is in a constant perfect-spring state.
- kestronians get around by horseback and carriage, or by foot, and they love long journeys.
- kestronians have a global first language that is a mix of french, spanish, portuguese, and latin, however they are taught from young ages many different languages from around the galaxy, including that of earth's, and since kestronians are a race of highly intelligent beings in which use a higher percentage of their brain than humans from earth, it's easy for them to pick up and become fluent in languages.
- kestronians are a highly intelligent and pacifist race, and all are born with different abilities in which usually place them in their future occupation. some are incredibly fast, some can fly, some can grow flowers from the palm of their hands, some can heal and some can form light, etcetera.
- kestro is divided into four different regions, and into eight different kingdoms, with one ruler each. however, kestronians always get a say in every matter, and not everyone agrees on everything, so compromises are always made to fit the needs of every kestronian. there are no strict laws or rules except for one: killing will result in banishment from planet kestro. kestronians do not believe in imprisonment or of taking a life, even if that life has taken another.
- gender and sexuality have no place on kestro. you go by what pronouns you prefer, and if you have a masculine body but would be more comfortable with a more feminine body, you will be completely accepted and supported, and surgery costs nothing. as for sexuality, you love who you love, and are attracted to whoever you are attracted to; their are no labels and no discrimination.
- kestronians welcome anyone to their planet, regardless of race and regardless of how or why they've come to kestro, with kindness, grace, and poise. this would inevitably cause their downfall when an evil and cruel people from another far planet came and destroyed their customs and their utopian way of living, and made the kestronians their slaves, some of which were forced to fight to the death like gladiators.
