the name are a group focused on the universe and space.

after leaving the mountain, their leader led them to an area, right in the center of the rest of the groups territories, that was thinly covered in forest. the tree cover is very light, giving little shade but a clear view of the sky. this particular area features very hot temperatures during the day. since they lack shade, the animals have resorted to underground. there was already a simple tunnel system from previous rodents and such. however, many of the tunnels are unstable and dangerous, and the system isn't very large. the group worked to dig more abundant, bigger tunnels to house their group. the tunnel system is comprised of several parts.
the main, largest entrance is a huge hole under an old and rotting pine tree. this tree is where they gather for their various rituals, ceremonies, and activities involving the sky. regular meetings are held just inside. a large room-like space serves as both a meeting place and a common area, where they socialize and eat. off of that main room are four hallway like tunnels. one leads to the leader's den, a spacious area with a low ceiling and an exit. the exit is covered by a bush, protecting the leader from weather and offering shade. down the next hallway is an area for the old, young, sick, and injured. two separate rooms- one for the healthy, one for the not so healthy. the medic also has a small storage space for herbs and a cluster of roots that serves as a den. the next hall is for all of the general members. there are several medium sized rooms off of this hall. there is a roommate system, and each room has 3-4 occupants. the last hall is for the experts and other higher powers. they keep all of their technology, charts, and records in one room, and the other room has many dents and crevices that serve as dens.
herbs are abundant, as is water. this is surprising, considering the heat. prey is a little scarcer. they live mainly off of the fish in the small river running through their territory and various birds, with the occasional rodents or insects. wip.
