i'm actually tearing up right now because stace isn't the praying type. angels are assholes, and so is their father - but he just... he's fucking desperate. he prays, really early in the morning, at like three, and he begs for forgiveness, because he thinks it's his fault that zeke is like this. he begs for zeke to be brought happiness, for someone to help him because stace apparently can't, and stace doesn't know what else to do. "i don't know what to do. please. i - he needs- something. something to make him happy, make him see he's wrong about himself, because i can't."
