she didn't seem surprised, which was a bit disappointing. if cold and brooding was the look that they were going for, tadeas needed to ensure that his face wasn't betraying too much - which, admittedly, it was. after thinking he'd composed himself, he had really been staring at her in slack-jawed astonishment.

yeah, of course it was. why was he here? how had he ended up outside, even? [b]"i know." he nodded, heat flushing his ears. he'd probably been helping the attendants with their chores, because he had completed his village shopping (that consisted of smiling at one of the female storekeepers) a week ago.

"can you find your way back to the village?"

"yes," eager was she to get him out. "hopefully." he chuckled a little. "i just return the way i came. through those..bushes."
