his words were slurred and when he walked he was unbalanced. he crashed into the wall of the old theater and knocked over the old frames which told which movies were playing. he dropped to his knees when he reached the center of the lobby and smashed the bottle of whiskey he had been holding, feeling the shards in his hand and the blood dripping. he picked what shards he could out before a broken sob echoed off the walls and he threw his hat to the side so he could dig his hands in his hair and tug at it. he sat there, alone, before he fumbled for his phone and calling the one person he could trust in this moment,
