besides, rainforests have really fragile ecosystems and if something like that were to happen, it would be extremely detrimental to the entire rainforest and potentially cause everything to just... die, or at least be affected greatly for a period of time. and it's greatly unlikely for something like that to happen considering the diversity of a rainforest. and considering how recent the territory is, it wouldn't be a good idea.

besides, the amount of edible and non-edible things in a rainforest is quite plentiful, and nd relies a lot on their farms, anyways. so something happening in the forest wouldn't matter, and if something happened with the farms it could easily be dealt with before it spread.
