Ian wasn't as against school as Mickey was. And as for his opinion on the fighters academy... it was mixed. He liked being able to defend himself, that was definitely a plus. Before this, he had been beaten up a whole shitload for, well, various reasons. Now, however, he could fight back, and that made him very happy. Still, it wasn't like he just enjoyed brawling with people. He wasn't the kind of person to find straight up fighting 'fun' or entertaining. He saw it as a neccessity, not a hobby, like some students seemed to see it as. Students like Mickey.
