jules probably has like a really close relationship with his dad
like so close some people think they have an incest relationship but in reality darcio is the only relative he has
and he like showing affection since he never met his mother and he lowkey has a fear of his dad dying or leaving him

darcio has always been a very stony father and he isn't really outwardly affectionate but it's obvious that he loves his son
and he doesn't talk much at all?? and it's very underlying the fact that in reality he's possibly a very sadistic/bamf person from past experiences
i imagine he was in the military at one point before pursuing a career in law enforcement which prompts him to be slightly stricter than normal parents

jules probably acted out often; constantly sneaking out, going to parties, hooking up with random guys because he's trying to find the missing affection he isn't really given? the lack of affection and love from his mother and the strict upbringing from his father kind of makes him wanna rebel
