> kooka just topped five feet and has a thin, almost scrawny looking frame. she has brown hair that she insists stop at her shoulders, lightly tanned skin, and a wide, shiny smile. her dominant features are her large eyes and defined eyebrows. her clothes of choice vary from day to day, but is very fond of and frequently wears a large, gray trenchcoat. she sometimes lets bruno put a daisy in her hair, but she doesn't like it that much.

> kookaburra, in a nutshell, is FULL OF LIFE, UNPREDICTABLE, SPORADIC, and very EMOTIONAL. she could be quietly talking to someone (note that this is only a hypothetical situation, because the chances of this ever happening is slim to none), and when and if they mildly offend her, she could either attempt to push them into a fireplace or calmly continue on with the conversation. her being FINICKY is more than an understatement. if something doesn't suit her - such as a dress or a specifically colored tablecloth - she will throw a tremendous fit. if her demands to have something changed aren't satisfied immediately, she may resort to violence or sob hysterically. the girl is often in a DISTRACTED and DAZED state. despite trying to encourage others, kookaburra lacks motivation, and abandons the simplest of tasks midway through completion. she daydreams often, and walks around with several imaginary friends. it isn't unusual to find her having HEATED arguments with insects or narrating stories to rabbits. don't get me wrong, though -- kooka is an absolute doll -- well, occasionally. she chants a good morning song every day and forces everyone else to sing with her. she gives people gifts if she wants to, but usually takes them back a day or two later. she also enjoys looking at the sky, but when it comes to cloud gazing, kookaburra may get a bit COMPETITIVE (if that's even possible). in all seriousness, however, she does attempt to be AMIABLE. she doesn't usually hold grudges often, and if someone gains her trust, she will make sure to treat them with the utmost respect. the latter happens more frequently than she would like. she's extremely NAIVE and impressionable, and even a minor statement in conversation could impact her actions for the rest of her life. when these traits are used against her, kookaburra becomes extremely dejected and may make a drastic effort to make changes to her personality and way of living.

> a little fish called bloo spent the first seven years of her life in the waters of the utah lake. every morning and on many evenings, she managed to swim up her way to the surface to watch strange creatures glide across the sand. one day, she decided that she too would glide across the sand, and made a bargain with a sketchy underwater fortune teller. oddly, the woman had never asked anything in return from her - perhaps because she was a friend. soon enough, bloo was transformed into a human girl. once above water, she was almost immediately taken in by a group of nomads. she lived in the group for two years, and grew very attached to a certain woman who apparently could not give birth. she treated bloo like her own, and never gave her another name. bloo loved all of them, but was ready for a change. later, the group began to receive threats that eventually forced them to vacate. Much to the disappointment of bloo's foster mother, the group decided it best to give bloo a better home. An old woman from the group travelled to a local bar and handed her to the first person she saw -- Bruno Maniaci. Though he claimed that he was intent on getting rid of her, bruno took on the responsibility of being a parent in an instant. It was here where he renamed bloo kookaburra after her trademark screams (he felt guilty about it at first, but it grew on both of them). they now live together happily, with bruno as kookaburra's legal guardian and business partner.
