Ignis’s body swayed a bit as the train sped down the tracks. He had his head resting against the cool pane of the window, his breath lightly fogging it up. He had his eyes open, not that it did any good as his eyes were scarred and sightless.
During the past three weeks, the group had gone silent. They barely spoke anymore. And when they did, it was nothing but fights.
Noctis had lost so much. Lunafreya has passed, leaving Noctis with the Ring of Lucis. The poor boy had so much weight on his shoulders. It wasn’t a shock that Noctis had broken down.
Then, there was Gladio. He wasn’t helping matters. A few minutes ago, he had gotten into a fight with Noctis, telling him to suck it up and stop feeling sorry for himself before storming out into a different train car.
Ignis let out an exhausted sigh. He was tired of this. Tired of being useless because of his eyesight. Tired of this constant arguing.
Ignis sighed, setting a slight shaky hand upon the cane they had gotten him to help navigate. He waited a moment before rising to his feet. He knew Prompto was going to start worrying and attempt to help him. But, he had to learn to navigate on his own.
He then made his way out of the seat, moving off slowly to find Noctis. It wasn’t hard since he could hear the young king attempting to keep his cries quiet. He blinked, reaching a hand out to feel the back of the seat and then lowered himself down onto it next to Noctis.
“Noct? Are you okay?†Ignis inquired, turning his head towards Noctis.
