first batch of presleigh angst - despite being extremely smart and the top of the class, in middle school back when the stutter had developed, presleigh's teachers used to give him low grades on presentations and speaking assignments because he wasn't speaking fluently and it was sometimes hard to understand him and it made him so frustrated and upset and he actually legit wanted to die because on top of the obvious teasing of his classmates, his teachers' ignorance towards his disability led to his grades suffering and he used to like come home crying because of it all. also, he almost failed a few classes because all his presentation grades were so low.
thankfully, he transferred schools in eighth grade and the teachers were a lot more understanding there (which also was the case once he started high school)
