Well, Cassidy had not been expecting that of all things. Not some rule, barely adult little man coming up to him and basically threatening him. He'd been told the people would be friendly towards him. Hopefully, nothing else he'd been told had been a lie.
"now hold on a minute, young man." he began, crossing his arms. "I understand you may live in these parts, but I reckon that's no way to treat your visitors. I had been under the impression that you all welcomed weary travelers like myself into your little city, but if I was mistaken, well, I guess I'll just be on my way. Seems like you don't really need my wares anyhow." he huffed, shaking his head. He'd been prepared to trade with the city's inhabitants, but he certainly wasn't going to stay if they were all little pieces of sh.t like this one.
