Tons of people, lots of cold, and oh yeah — one overbearing big brother, always waiting for him to come home. His home wasn't on top of that godforsaken mountain, but Bruce seemed to like the idea that they could work out their differences. Maybe they could, but the thing was, well, they sucked at talking. These sorts of things usually ended up with one of them throwing a punch, and god his right hook hurt. That's a little off-topic, isn't it? The point was, yeah, he knew why people would leave the lodge to come all the way down here. Not that he thinks Anabiel is inept, in any way. He hasn't met her, but she seems alright from where he's standing. Which is admittedly some distance away, but whatever.

Wanna know why he even noticed her? A thunk on his head, that's why. Anabiel either has great aim or great luck, because the rock hits him right at his temple and Jason staggers with a sharp, incoherent shout of pain. It's not even that bad, but it's a rock for fuck's sake. So he turns around to glare at her, hands on his hips like some kind of frustrated housewife before walking towards the fence and the person standing on the other side. "You do that because you want my attention or just because?"
