I dare you to jump off the roof and into the dumpster below! Gem was the Truth or Dare master, you know why? One, she always picked dare, and two, she did any dare thrown at her, and that means any dare. This one wasn’t any different, although some would say it was on the dangerous side. No big deal, she’d done worse things in the past. Like that one time Grub had dared her to roll around in raw meat and go taunt the dogs. In the end she needed two stitches and a lot of Band-Aids, but the younger kids had practically worshiped her for that whole week. Like come on, who cared about constantly being in pain when you had little gremlins obeying your every command? Seriously, it was awesome. Anyway, the teenager was currently standing on the store’s roof looking down at the ground, where some of the kids were adding some trash bags and pillows into a dumpster. After a couple of minutes they looked up at her and gave her the thumbs up, a gesture she happily returned. “’Kay then,†She yelled down to them, “I’ll jump on three! 1, 2, 3!†On 3 she suddenly launched off of the roof, curling into a cannonball as she plummeted down towards the ground and hit the dumpster with a loud ‘umph’, probably startling anyone who happened to be walking by at that moment. All the kids were silent for a minute, and one of the taller boys peered in to get a better look. Is she dead? No look, she's twitching. Maybe she broke a bone. When it looked like the girl was actually dead, or at least passed out, Gem suddenly sat up and looked around, but it looked like everyone had ran away as quickly as possible, probably thinking that she was a zombie or something. Wusses.

NICKNAMES: gem, cole, germ
AGE: 14
SEX/GENDER: female
APPEARANCE: to be honest, gem looks more like a boy than a girl. she has light brown skin from being outside all the time, and a scrawny, muscular build. she has curly brown hair, though it is shaved to the point where there's barely a centimeter of it remaining, and her eyes are a dark brown / almost black. another thing to note is that she's missing a few teeth / has a large gap in her two front teeth, along with the fact that her chest is almost completely flat, something she’s proud of.
CLOTHES: restating what was said before, gem tends to look, and dress, like a boy. you can normally find her in a dirty white undershirt and brown work pants with cotton hand wraps and nothing to cover her feet. occasionally she can be found in an almost comically large grey overcoat, one that was presumably given to her by her parents. but in truth, she probably stole it from someone.
PERSONALITY: gem can best be described as a fighter. fierce and unyielding, she doesn't let anyone tell her what to do, and dislikes authority figures. to go with this, she's a rulebreaker, and while she doesn't activity look to make trouble, she somehow always gets into it. maybe it's because she's always provoking people into fights, or just because she's so goddamn stubborn at times. though once you get to know her she'll prove to be fiercely loyal, and tends to treat everyone she knows as if they were family. so what if you don't like her non-stop pestering and inconvenient wrestling matches? in her opinion, it comes with the 'friend' job description.
