the next train wasn't set to come for another fifteen minutes. it took fourteen to run all the way to the train station from the headquarters. he was just standing in the middle of the tracks, watching the direction that the train would come. he was far enough away from the main station that no one would see or stop him.
as those thirteen minutes passed, he heard the sound of a train growing closer, and at fourteen he saw it round the corner and get closer, and he just tilted his head up when he felt rain, closing his eyes.
