If anyone was to be honest it was a waste, he was tall and naturally muscular, had incredible strength. He was simply meant for fighting. Well, physically anyway. If his body matched his brain he'd be a scrawny, sad boy. That what made him different from real fighters, the blocked wall of empathy. Who knew if that was a good think, hell, sometimes he wished he could just turn his brain off. He couldn't, obviously so he'd never be good enough anyway.
Still, it was pathetic that Giovanni couldn't avoid a half assed bat aimed for his ribs. Even he could tell it was embarrassing. Sylmae was sweet, but she was also tiny. Which had it's benefits of course, but being small, especially skinny, didn't equate power. Especially when she wasn't actually aiming for a finishing blow. "I'll take his place," he offered briskly, kind of excited at the idea. Even if he got butchered at least he learned something, right? And the guy was pretty badly wounded as it was.
