Company, oh joy; Sylmae was decent enough, but Sel got on his nerves more often then not. Whatever, he couldn't really complain; he was stuck with her for the moment. Wouldn't stop him from doing his job though.
"Alright, Haris, welcome to the Badlands. " John said, trying to keep any lingering disappointment out of his voice; she seemed nice, he would hate to see her get ripped apart like so many others. Maybe her and Sylmae would become friends and protect eachother, they both seemed to need that with their mentalities.
"I'm John, but most people call me Whiskers. Keeps people from confusing me with Johnny." He explained as he silently studied her; she looked like she could use a good meal and some clean water. She wasn't critically injured at least, but in her state it could happen easily.
"I, ah, have plenty of water from the recent rainfall stored back in my apartment. I wouldn't mind sharing." John offered awkwardly, ready for being rejected. Being nice wasn't exactly something that got you brownie points; he still had the bruises from Metta beating the shit out of him when he stood up for a worm.
