[align=center][div style="0px; width: 500px; text-align: justify; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 110%; color: #000000"]"Who are you.. and uhm.. What do you want with the Badlands?"
The words took him off guard and barely, had he almost caught them did his he slightly lack in the hearing realm. Wiping around, his grip tightened on his weapon, just in case he should be expecting some sort of impact, although that was ironic to say, as the individual who spoke sounded as if they couldn't hurt a fly, much less make proper confrontation, but bowie learned that people could surprise you. much less, though he lacked to analyze it within her words, it was much more clearer within her expression ― she looked hesitant, nervous, quite the opposite of what was expected in a place so savage, so brutal. again, he knew there could be some unexpected element of surprise, however, he tried to not let it get the better of him. he was sure that this one person wasn't even the half of many and if anything, maybe he was lucky to be running into someone like her. his grip loosened, his tongue running over his bottom lip. they were chapped now. his canteen bottle has been empty for days.
"I was just passing through," he stated, although his throat was dry from a parched throat made his voice sound ragged. He didn't quite rush to answer who he was. That part wasn't important. "I hadn't even realized that I'd crossed into territory. Is there any way that you could show me the way out?" He knew that if anything, now wasn't the pride to be full of pride. He felt as if he might collapse any moment, but he didn't want to admit that much. As long as he could find the clear route out without any altercations, he would hopefully run into somewhere that made him feel at least slightly more secure, in this case, anywhere probably would. It wasn't just the fact that he thought that anyone could prey him at any moment, but the fact that his former group proved that he didn't do too well with people at all. He wasn't up for being submissive and despite his emotions, he wasn't interested in disputations, either.
Before the girl could answer, yet someone else stepped out. No words from him were addressed, but he was made Bowie much more uneasy. His hand tightened on the weapon in his hand, but he didn't dare loosen his grip, nor was he expecting to back down. Being submissive didn't quite get you what you wanted, and he had a clear goal in mind that he planned on achieving.
