what she means: while i love the cast of disney’s descendants 2 for actively engaging with the fandom and supporting headcanons and building canons, i am really tired of dove and thomas trying to hype up mal x harry as anything. it’s a disservice to the character of harry who from the novels who was ride or die for uma for reasons that had nothing to do whatsoever with mal. she was a non-factor in all of harry’s decision and his entire dislike of her comes from mal doing uma dirty. i respect that dove and thomas are a couple but there is no reason for them to reach as much as they do. i need them to start doing right by the uma x harry relationship for me to stay excited about the cast interactions.

I read about the whole thing thomas and dove had made up about harry and mal being exes and I'm like rlly?? Does that have to be a situation that happened? They even went as far as to put fake matching tattoos that mal and harry had gotten. Like I get y'all a couple but please don't bring it into the film!
