Unlike most humans, Sylmae was terrified of thunderstorms, so rain sort of fit into that category. Anything that promised the possibility of thunder was a no go for the little lady. Perhaps she just had a fear of loud sounds, but it only tended to range around thunder, though she hadn't really been exposed to that many loud sounds to properly know. At the first sign of rain, Mae had taken shelter in the first place she had found, unfortunately the same house that Johnny had found, only she had a different way of entering. Through a window in the back of the house. The slender female had pulled all of her stuff into the house and was settled up nicely in the kitchen, eating quietly from a can of food when she heard a loud banging up front and the grunt of a human, most likely male by the sounds. She tensed, almost scared of the idea of moving forward and going to see who it is. Perhaps whoever it was would attack her, as she often did on accident when people snuck up on her. With a healing wound, she wasn't sure she was ready for a fight. Biting her bottom lip, she slid from the warmth of her tent, pulling her blanket over her shoulders as she moved up to the doorway and poked her head around the corner, fixating her gaze on the guy.
"Uhm.. H-hello? Please don't shoot.." Mae called softly as she leaned back, hiding behind the wall. It was going to take her a bit to grow brave enough to fully show herself but for now, she was hoping to gather his attention so he would know he wasn't alone. She didn't want to risk him getting spooked by her and beating the life out of her. She likely couldn't hold her own in a fight and her katana was in the tent, a good distance away from her. Probably not a smart choice.
