- born on march twelfth, pisces
- male at birth, identifies as masculine
- uses mainly masculine pronouns but doesn't mind gender neutral ones either
- really struggles when it comes to his sexuality but he's open to himself being attracted to any gender. he'd always thought that he was into girls up until he got into high school and he found himself slowly being drawn to guys as well. but his family and friends don't really understand the whole "gay thing," so he's kept this information to himself and hasn't really acted upon his feelings. as far as he knows, he's both biromantic as well as bisexual.

- born in oslo, norway to two teen parents who didn't really know what to do with him. the two of them obviously never meant to have a kid, but isak was born and he was quickly given up
- maybe he wasn't a cute kid or something, but he didn't get adopted until he was fourteen, but before that, he was placed into the foster care system
- for the first five years of his life, he spent his life with an elderly couple on some kind of farm. he doesn't really remember much but he knew that they were the nicest, most closest thing to parents that he's ever had. not to mention, there were a bunch of dogs there
- he was placed back into another foster home when he was six, the elderly couple could no longer support him since he was beginning to start school and there wasn't a school nearby their area, so he was quickly relocated to another family in order to begin his education
- his new family was more of a mess than a family, so he tended to do his own thing. due to this, he didn't really get to know them, and that only made them seem more creepy and eerie to him. they were probably fine, but they were just odd and he never felt comfortable around them
- during the time that he was staying with his new family, he got to know his foster manager. or, well, the person in charge of relocating him as well as finding him adoptive parents and what ever else. she ended up becoming a motherly figure to him, especially during this time
- his foster manager actually ended up adopting him as her own son before they both moved to the states together where she actually kind of just lets him do his own thing too
- he currently resides with three other roommates in a small house, he does visit his adoptive mother and they're still just as close (maybe a bit disconnected, truthfully), he just prefers to live outside of the house

- isak tends to try and act a lot older than he really is, often wanting to take on more than he can manage or suppressing his own feelings and intentions since that's what he thinks being mature is
- tends to be pretty dense and doesn't really understand when he's done something wrong or offended someone, so it's best to just guide him whenever he says something dumb because really, he probably doesn't even know what he did
- insanely forgetful, he probably has the memory of a goldfish. he often makes notes for everything due to this, since he's aware of how absent-minded he can be
- although it might not come off upon first meeting him, isak's very much still a child, so to speak. he's pretty innocent and naïve, he doesn't know right from wrong and can be impulsive. as much as he likes to think that he's older and smarter, he's still just as immature and childish sometimes
- he's a total sweetheart even despite his insensitive words from time to time, he always does his best to please and puts others before him, or at least tries to. he's also very sincere in his actions and words, so he means everything he says and his words generally have a purpose, even if they're rude or demeaning but again, he doesn't know what he means when he talks so just correct him if he says something wrong
- isak is very socially intelligent, he normally is charismatic and knows how to weasel his way anywhere if he tried. he doesn't really try to do this often since it seems manipulative to him, but he doesn't think it's a super bad thing either. despite being socially adept though, he only has a few close friends and likes to keep people at a distance, he's just very much an introvert
- he falls in love easily, way too easily, quite truthfully. he adorns his heart on his sleeve and could award it to the first stranger he meets without a problem, but in the end, he's usually the one that gets too invested and ends up with his heart broken
- tends to clam up and grow quiet whenever around someone he likes or he's been dating for a couple of weeks. he doesn't know why, and he always tries to open up and be as outgoing as he usually is, but it just never happens, not until later on in the relationship but he does care for his partner, he's just bad at showing it
- he loves affection, but struggles to show it to others. he's not affectionate, but he loves affectionate people, so to speak. he often shows love verbally, and grows insanely shy around affection but he does enjoy it

- speaks norwegian and english fluently, tends to revert back to norwegian whenever he's upset or drunk or, even occasionally when he's high

- jk he's usually sleeping or on his laptop, his life is insanely boring

- forgets to eat?? like all the time?? it's not that he's trying to starve himself it just happens so he sets alarms on his phone to eat every two hours bc he usually only eats snacks
- honestly he forgets everything, it's so annoying tbh bc he's locked himself out of his apartment like 3/4 times he gets home,,, and his car,,, and everything rlly
- spends hours in the shower,, like no joke he could spend hours in there n his usual showers are already like an hour and a half bc he just likes standing there
- loves dogs ok like they're his favorite animal and he rlly rlly wants one but one of his roommates is allergic so yeah that sucks for him
