The tension between the two of them was felt by both--and Mettaton's mind was currently working (and failing) to think of how he could easily get out of this situation without being the one to give in. It felt like admitting defeat--even though there was no contest at hand. Maybe there should be. Now, that was interesting. the only problem--they had entirely different skillsets.
Mettaton was definitely a competitive man, though, and he refused to be the first to give up and go home. "Not that I actually am not a hunter. I just meant what you said--darling."
