In terms of 'coming out of the closet' I really lucked out because
A) my (mothers side) family couldn't give less of a shit
B) It was actually my mom who asked me first
C) My uncle is gay anyways so that contributed to them just not caring either way
i don't really talk to my dad and his side of the family but they are all extreme christians so hahahaha fts
But I've been out forrrrrr bout 3 years now? Idk. I've been to the pride parade and really really wanna go again. I met A LOT of drag queens and they were fabulous.

my friends//family are almost all v liberal but im the ffirst person in the family who's lgbt+ at all? so it was definitely a shock for ppl but the only troubles were with my dad whos not....hateful he's just ......stubborn and fretful but he's starting to acknowledge my gender so thats a plus
and my moms side of the family (aside from my mom herself) are a lot more conservative so im just not out to them
i hope you get to go again! i want to go to mine but for some reason our pride happens in july, which is usually way too hot for me to go out w/o getting like heatstroke whICH has happened to me a lOT so i dont want it to happen again

I wish biblebasher Christians didn't suck. I'm sure they're wonderful people but it sucks to force ideologies on their kids,, like let em be their own person
and TBH I don't think I'll ever find the right person, my social anxiety is extremely bad, I have type one diabetes (that's the genetic one, not the old age/eating too much one) and b/c of how that effects my body, it's extremely hard for me to lose weight, so that plus a dodgy anti-depressant means I put on too much weight I can't lose and I'm not very pretty. The two relationships I've had have been online, one possibly cheated on me and the other was manipulative and abusive, so it sucks. A lot.
Doesn't mean I don't get shitty one-sided crushes on people all the damn time though,,, hhhh

The two IRL relationships I've been in (not counting the relationships in kindergarten to get cutsies in the desert line) have all ended horribly. One was a jerk who ended up ignoring me so i'd "take the hint" and the other was a liar who would try to make me feel bad for him, then found out he was telling my best friend that he wished he could be with this other girl.
So yeah. I'm starting to develop an interest in ldr relationships idk why.
