It makes more sense to me since Nara would forget that clans exist ( they's a man who easily forgets, poor guy ) and stumble across one's territory one day, or something among the line, and it would be a huge mess if they got themself into a hostile situation because they indeed have understanding the concept behind trespassing, welp.
