[align=center][div style="text-align: justify; width:500px;font-size:9pt; line-height:1.3"]Gabe had never been on his own for this long before. He had grown up surrounded by warmth and reassurance from his family, and he had lived in the suburbs of the Badlands for close to a year. Albeit the Badlands was the home to hardened criminals and immoral souls, they were still the only people that he had really grown to know outside of his immediate family. There were some days where he thought about what the group had come to since he had left. Was Catalyst still leading? Who was the second-in-command? Had the Resurrection attacked again?
He would never know.
The teenager wasn't planning on returning to the beachside city. For too many reasons, he felt that it was time to leave. Too many people had come and gone, too many people he had cared about. Too many things had changed. At one time, he had thought he could stay and help them. However, things hadn't turned out the way he wanted them to. Gabriel's time in the Badlands had come to an end, and the sixteen year old fled.
Now here he was, wandering like a tumbleweed on the open road. He hadn't a particular destination; right now, his goal was to get as far away from the Badlands as possible. God knows what would happen to him if they caught him. He had only been in the city for a day or so, but he was taking the time to scout for any resources. Gabriel had found himself in a decaying building, and hadn't realized he had woken up an inhabitant of said building. "W-Wait! I'm sorry," He piped up once he saw the older man reach for a knife. He stepped back, stiffening, and added, "I didn't realize anyone was up here."
He would never know.
