[b]sheogorath
[b]and i say to myself, what a wonderful world
On that day, one might say Sheogorath was being a bit rash, because on a whim, he had had a thought, and it hadn't been one of the best in terms of ideas. But Sheogorath, ever since dragging himself out of his depression, was determined to cure himself of any lingering weakness. That was why he had the large fire going on the beach, blistering upon flaming logs upon the sands of the shore, and in the fire was an iron rod, not the one used to brand him three months ago, no, this poker had no particular shape, but hot iron was enough to spark a sense of fear in his gut.

Still, Sheogorath lingered. He was doing this to himself on purpose, not branding himself, he had no desire to cause bodily harm, but simply staring at the blaze, and the red hot poker lurking within. Reaching outward with a gloved hand, he plucked the exposed end of the poker from where it hung outward from the fire, and lifted the iron from the hungry flames. Bringing it close to his face, Sheogorath could feel the blistering heat assault his features as his sharp amber gaze hovered upon it's burning, sizzling figure. Panic engulfed his mind, but he swallowed it down, waved the poker through the air a bit as if the action would soothe him, before bringing it before his face once more. Uttering a heaving breath, Sheogorath lowered the poker to his exposed arm. He didn't let it touch flesh, but it was certainly close enough that he could feel the scorching heat upon his skin. Sheogorath held it there for a moment, letting his nerves calm, forcing himself to remain relaxed, even as his whole body tensed in fear, but he'd be damned if he gave this up. He would conquer his fright.
