Soon, Lightness became Life because it was still seen after the split, as Darkness soon became Death because it disappeared into the Void's form after the split, making it viewed as if it was "gone". Given the fact they were born at the same time, they are considered to be ( the Parallel ) Twins.

Additional note regarding to Their creation and Their creator: If it is true of the fact They is the Embodiment ( of Reincarnation / Determination ), assumed They is created by equally Life and Death, They would only see them as Their auncles, like any other of the Embodiments, and, yet, view the Void as Their true creator / parent because most of the times, the first thing They see once Their consciousness comes to reality is the Void. Unlike Life and Death, the Void can be quiet or loud or in between to Them. The Void can be and do and say everything or nothing to Them upon Their arrival. It sings, it prays, it scolds—it will always do something that will welcome Them to the world and beyond.
