Needless to say, Videogames had spent more time than necessary on this. Like, how would you get feral turkeys in the winter? Videogames was not going to reveal his secrets just yet. But, let's just say, it wasn't ideal. It was frustrating, but Videogames was happy if it allowed his clanmates to have fun.
Videogames had several NPCS manning the turkeys right now. They were to be released once he gave the signal -- a subtle signal. As in, he doesn't do anything except yell, which was why the NPCs were intended to have good hearing.
"ALRIGHT, EVERYONE!! GATHER FOR THIS WEEK'S PROMISED EVENT!!" He shouts, loud as he can. He's grinning with clear delight, turkey feathers spread at his paws. Feathers were something of a status symbol, here in the Vale -- Videogames would like to participat in the event himself, but it just didn't feel right. His tail swishes. He's still grinning. "It's a turkey hunt!! In a few moments, feral turkeys will be released. You just have to chase and catch them! You can keep the feather to wear, like the bird hunting tradition. You can some feathers, but return the turkeys!" He directs. They might put together a small feast with them -- god knows winters were hard to find food throughout. The Vale .. had enough to last them, but he's still somewhat nervous.
...
And with that, the hunt is on.
Videogames, smirking, simply settles in to wait. The turkeys don't exactly have a set area -- there's a few in the woods and the meadow. But that's all, really. (iron shade wouldn't work, anyways.)

Caboose wasn't a hunter, to say the least. For .. a lot of reasons. Partly because he was still ridiculously clumsy on his paws. He wouldn't like the taste of blood in his mouth even if he did know how to anyways, though. Bad tasting.
.. This being said. Caboose wasn't actually aware of the game going on. He hadn't been nearby for the announcement, trodding through the woods. It was a wonder he was still in the territory -- unless it wasn't, because it was so big!! Caboose was prone to getting lost. But it was better to be lost where he was supposed to be than where he shouldn't be.
..
What was that noise? Caboose blinks, and blinks again. He doesn't know what it is, but it sounds funny. The Retriever trods to investigate, eyes wide. His friends didn't like him going to look at stuff on his own, but he did anyways. And, as he wanders closer .. it's a turkey. The retriever gasps in delight, tail wagging. He doesn't remember what a turkey really is right then, but he quickly places it as new friend!! In a counter-productive sort of fashion, Caboose yips excitedly, unable to piece together words to declare his new friend in his excitement, and tears off after it. The turkey, of course, makes a strange noise, and makes a run for it. To which Caboose tries to follow, and .. trips. He falls face-first into the snowy forest floor, his ungraceful fall sending him tumbling for a moment before he gets his bearing and blinks, bewildered. He doesn't see the turkey. He's momentarily disappointed by the loss.
.. What was he doing again?
