he looked over once he was done. “nines..?” he mumbled.

Nines seemed to jump a bit, his eyelids fluttering as he quickly shook his head, "Ah, yes Gavin?"

he hesitated. “rest with me..” he said softly.

Nines blinked and said, frowning slightly, "I would, but I have been staying in low power mode rather than resting in order to tend to your needs in case you wake up..."

he shook his head. “one of my needs is you resting with me, now come on you idiot.”

Nines blinked and nodded, moving to lay down a bit and said softly as his eyes drooped, "Alright, I suppose.."

he moved and hesitated before curling up against the naked torso.

Blinking his eyes open in surprise, the android smiled softly before closing his eyes, going into his actual rest mode.

he quietly ate, looking at the tv.

Nines once again seemed distracted, filing paperwork and doing his other work, but then his eyes seemed to droop a bit. Since he had been staying at Gavin's to take care of him, he hadn't had any chances to properly rest and charge himself, so his LED started blinking a soft red.
