Outside was Hank’s car. After a minute, Hank stepped out of the car

he stood, eyes wide. “is that..?”

Connor blinked, moving over and looking out the window. He then quickly turned heading outside and over to Hank. “Hank!?” Connor asked, looking him over with wide eyes. Hank glanced at Connor. He offered him a faint, weak smile.

“Hey Connor. It’s nice to see you again.” He murmjred. Connor looked him over, his eyes wide. Hank blinked, watching him. He noticed that Connor had started crying. Hank moved closer, pulling the other into a tight hug. Connor quickly hugged back, his face resting against his shoulder as he gripped at his jacket.

gavin was staring T hank and connor, hesitating. “i didn’t think you were going to... why didn’t they call?”

Hank glanced over at Gavin. “I don’t think they had your number since you’re not...Official family members.” He said. “But, I figured I’d swing by to visit since I had a feeling Connor would be here.” Hank said. He rubbed Connor’s back slowly, keeping him close

he nodded and blinked. “he’s been doing good. he got a job to help with my uh.. my hills and stuff..”

Hank glanced down at Connor. He smiled, setting a hand on the back of his head. “Well I’m proud of you Connor. I’m glad you’re helping out Gavin.” He said. Connor gave a nod, but stayed close to Hank.

he nodded and looked at connor.

Connor stayed silent, keeping a tight hold on Hank. Hank blinked, slowly moving his hand down from  his head to rest on his back. “Hey, it’s alright son. I’m not going anywhere.” He murmured. Connor sniffed, releasing a shaky breath. After what seemed like an eternity, Connor pulled away, wiping at his eyes to dry them.

gavin watched and moved to hug hank gently.
