ANATHEMA (formerly Clancy, born a name she no longer remembers) is a rebel determined to bring the downfall of The Nine Bishops and Vialism. Anathema was formerly the vessel-to-be for the Fourth Bishop, Nico. Born within the walls of Dema, Anathema was a strict believer in Vialism and her district Bishop, Keons (in fact, Keons was a great idol to her, one where she actually dreamed of meeting him and becoming a vessel for Keons), but after being chosen as Nico's new vessel and training with the Ruby and Jim at the time, Anathema realized Vialism was all a lie - a way to subdue the people without anyone questioning anything. She rejected her position and fled, escaping Dema and fighting through the trench. She is guarded, deeply insecure, and fiercely loyal to her other ex-vessels. Anathema has every intention on destroying the Bishops, so a rebellion or coup of any kind is good news to her - but she particularly enjoys bad news about the Bishop she was chosen for. Anathema is deeply in love with Ruby, but neither one of them are really aware of that fact.
