Jesse froze, staring at him. He nodded, slowly turning away and heading out. He searched around a bit before finding Sombra. She was heading off to her room. “Sombra?” Jesse asked. Sombra stopped, turning to face him.

“Yes Jesse?” She asked. Jesse looked her over.

“...I’m pretty sure the boss is pissed at the both of us.” Jesse said

Gabe pulled down his mask and chucked the plate to the floor below the rafters, making people jump.

Sombra was about to say something, but she suddenly jumped as well when she heard the plate shatter. Jesse winced a bit, fear flashing in his eyes for a moment before he quickly pushed iT away.

Gabe sighed and growled. “sombra!” he yelled, obviously very, very pissed.

Sombra flinched. She shared a look with Jesse before slowly heading over to the stairs and up to the rafters

as soon as she got up there, Gabe started yelling in spanish so no one else really understood. he was basically just saying she had no right, and that jesse would have been better off not knowing, or how it was his information to give out and not hers.

Sombra stayed silent as Gabe shouted at her. She glanced down for a moment before looking ip at him. “Why? Why would Jesse have been better off not knowing? You have been depressed and you haven’t been taking care of yourself! I know how much you miss your old friends and family from overwacth! So now that your adopted son is finally here you wanted to hide away from him? This was to help both of you out not just him! No child should ever be seperated from their parents! Believe me Gabe I know. I know what it’s like to be seperated from those who raised you. It hurts like hell. So why wouldn’t you want Jesse to know you were alive and well instead of having him believe you were dead?” Sombra asked

he hissed. “that’s not the fucking reason, olivia! it’s a side effect of being pretty much dead! i literally have no heart beat! i’m a walking corpse!” he exclaimed.

“So what Gabe?” Jesse asked. Sombra bkinked, looking over her shoulder at Jesse, who had come up. Jesse looked Gabriel over. He then slowly approached him, stopping in front of Gabe. “What does it matter? You’re alive enough for talon. And you’re alive enough for me.” He whispered. Jesse frowned. “Ever since that explosion happened and your death along with Jack’s was on the news, I...All I ever wanted was to just hear your voice one last time. Just..Have one bit of reassurance that you were still there. And...You are. You’re still here, Gabe. Alive or not, you’re still walking around. And you still care. And that’s all that matters.” Jesse whispered

he hissed. “i’m hardly Gabe anymore.” he snapped.
