after a few days, they had finally gotten to mickey’s apartment. surprisingly, it’s not horrible, it was a nice building made or red brick, and he moved into the building. the clerk looked up, saying something to mickey, in which he replied with something in spanish. he didnt pronounce everything right but he wasn’t horrible. he moved up the stairs, humming softly. “the elevator is broken, so..”

He blinked and said softly as he followed after Mickey with Yevgeny in his arm and a bag in the other, "That's fine. We don't have a ridiculous amount of stuff."

he hummed. “i’m not that high up, anyways.. but! carl, theresa hug nextdoor i think you’d be good friends with if you wanna meet him. his name is esteban, but we call him diego because.. he looks like go diego go.” he stated. carl blinked and nodded. “uh.. alright.”

Ian blinked and said, smiling back at Carl, "It'd be good for you to make some friends here. Plus it's not like back in Chicago, where you might get shanked trying to make friends. I'd take advantage."

[dannychan]

ymickey blinked. “i mean.. this isn’t the nicer part of town, either way, so.. i could get shanked if he isn’t careful.” he said. “a lot of the people around here don’t like white people, but once you earn their respect.” he said and shrugged, stopping at a door and taking out the key. “i’ll have to get you guys some keys..”

"Yeah, you will. We don't wanna get locked out or some shit." He said, bouncing Yevgeny and kissing the babbling child on the head.

he hummed and then cursed. “we gotta get a crib and stuff too. i’ll see if i can borrow rodreico’s truck..” he sighed and rubbed his face. “ok. carl, you go see diego.” he said and carl blinked. “can i take a nap first?” he asked. carl has gotten a little car sick on the ride over, so now he was pretty exhausted. mickey sighed. “alright. couch is over thee.” he said and carl shuffled off.
