His father still resides in mirelda, a planet that happens to be highly infatuated with earth and is just about a highly technical version of it although when it comes to their leadership, they’re still dedicated to the past. they live in a monarchy where they pay little attention to those who aren’t rich and often capture humans from earth to impregnate them to see what would happen, although unfortunately, because they keep this women there, they quite often die. the difference here became ren. they captured his mother and she was set up with another mireldan but his father ended up falling in love her instead, a prince at the time. although he was raised within wealth and toxicity, he was kind to her and apologetic. Eventually, they’d had a one night stand due whether that be out of his mother’s love for his father or her desperation and loneliness and this caused mirelda to let her go, without any former memory of her past. She assumes her pregnancy was in form of an assault and get her memories only in bits and pieces of it. She almost got an abortion— something she does not tell seen— but there was something, a force, maybe Ren himself that stopped her.
- Ren himself is infacuated with earth growing up, the world around him. He’s never questioned the existence of his father, mostly because his mother got hitched to a surgeon making him automatically address this man as so, even though he knew he really wasn’t. Only when Ren got older and slightly more rebellious did he begin addressing the man by his name, Jack, and most of the time it’s even this totally-being-an-asshole polite sort of tone
- Ren 10/10 is the gentleman snarker and even in the most intense situation, manages to remain whether that be for the best or him or good at him. Part of his facetiousness and inability to recognize a serious situation isn’t due to the fact that he’s exactly fearless, but because he lacks of a nervous or pain system, thanks to daddy. He does not easily feel pain to the extent that humans do and he heals far faster than they do as well. Luckily this also comes with a hella go metabolism and alcohol tolerance so it’s just another soda to him
- but because of this, Ren has formed almost a god complex— believing that he’s indestructible and he’s only nice when he wants to be. His mother concerns for him, taking his complex to his advantage to do the most stupidest shit and remember, he’s got pain tolerance and can heal faster but this does NOT mean he’s indestructible so it’s just a matter of luck on his side that he’d rolled that bike over a fucking river, “broke his arm”, and survived this shit and according to his mother, he’s nothing but a regular fucking human so uh
- again, nice when he wants to be. He’s charming and he always seems like he has good intentions because he’s this laid back kid with a great smile but honestly, but it doesn’t mean he always is. He’s a slightly cynical person, but it doesn’t mean he’s conpletely heartless. He’ll help people, but it all depends if he wants to and the side he chooses to be on won’t always be particularly good
- and motorcycles are his main form of transportation and he’s nearly died about 3 time’s due to being a reckless little shit but I mean uh
- he’s all leather jackets, baggy pants, white t-shirts and sunglasses. The thing with his eyesight is that he sees things like humans do— except heightened, so he often wears sunglasses (even in the dark) to tone the shit down and it actually helps can you believe that
- hates football but continues to play it because they’re literally worshipped at his school and always get to do all sorts of things
- hangs out that one aesthetic roller rink for reasons unexplained and it’s not just because it’s just about hella aesthetic as him and the place to beâ„¢️
- a super rich kid, and definitely a jock but is definitely the kind to stick up for a nerd who’s being picked on but then pitpocket their lunch money for shits and giggles
- smoking is a habit for him because it’s the only true thing that could make him feel things and that’s because back in mirelda, there’s something very similar to a mixture of cocaine and cigarettes and send those dopamine signals to your brain and since my boy is half human, those drugs does it for him and oh boy let’s pray he doesn’t become some sort of drug addict
