What should be Bearbones' main focus?

If we make a new game, I just. like I want it to be radically different than wnr. honestly wnr is just confusing and sad now, and it was always that way on ff too?? like it's all just broken and screwed up, and I want like a whole world that these animals actually fit into
I personally want no humans, a different planet, reasons for powers (maybe animals born in cold areas developed fire organs to warm themselves, winged animals needed an easier way to travel high places, animals with fins or gills originally lived in the water, etc, and of course they could move clans, but most of the clan they moved to would maybe fit its environment?? and every so often there COULD be some weird mutation that was super expensive and very rare, and everyone would immediately he like "woah wtf look at that guy he's got lizard fur that's so crazy" idfk) but I just think that people won't be open to change or any sense of realism so idk

But the religion thing? Is a hard no for me. We already voted for a religion, and no one wanted one. Personally it makes me hella uncomfortable so I just idk about that

Well, I can see how evolution could inspire that idea, but that would have taken a few hundred years to develop, so the animals would have needed to be alone for quite a long time for that to happen.

b) religions fine imo only bc no one has to follow it . or alternatively there are creatures who are. like. idk dictating shit but no one knows abt them so they aint a religion
but as grea pointed out ppl didnt vote for a game-wide religion so that should be respecte since the point of this would kinda be to do what. ppl want

c) radiation could be interesting but id prefer it from a non human source like. not fallout just the natural way a world developed so ,,,, normal radiation? like a planet where radiation causing mutagens is like. the nORM and life learned to live w it or smth idfk

but also yeah i mean also keep in mind so far. sole game being tnw is still winning so maybe update the poll? and propose this?

but i also still think if we do propose this it should b in the future like. let us focus on tnw for a bit, bolster it up first and get stuff done we've been wanting to do w it bc its a big project

so as someone who has built a couple of fantasy worlds, heres some ideas for wnr to have the fantast explanations?

- it never was a human world. its a fantasy world out and out. there is nothing realistic about it. this if any th ing creates MORE opportunity. you dont have to worry about realism at all this way. "the world's a giant cloud with dinosaurs and fire brea th ing puppies." just say fuck it to the idea of them living on earth.
- something created powers that makes more sense (radiation wouldnt cause people to breath fire and to turn into dragons realistically)
- stretching is ok. but saying radiation for the cause of everything is not. maybe animals did some weird fuckin breeding that made dragons and unicorns. rhinocerouses bred with horses and now what the fuck are these beautiful horses.  snakes bred with eagles and elephants so now theres bigass dragons. maybe animals when they breed together get weird fuckin powers.

as for what the focus should be ,u h. i don't rp animals anymore, and i much prefer humans at this point, and like some have said wnr is a mess with realism and lore and etc? so quite simply i could care less if it existed ? no offense but im just being honest

Yeah that's why I mean like. If we're talking about transportation to somewhere else, a different planet would also make these old characters seem strange and alien to the new planet?? Which is plot fodder. So the natives would be less crazy in terms of their mutations too; powers and mutations would merely fit their environment, and maybe they developed faster in this planet because of some strange magic, so they could shapeshift into having a different set of powers and mutations for a different environment? Like a fire breathing winged cat that lived in snow mountains could move to an ocean biome and shift into having an ability to control water and have gills, idk if that would be cool to other people but it's neat to me, and cosmetic mutations could of course stay for more diverse characters

like we dont even have an option to kick out tnw and ONLY focus on wnr and i think thats. bc. its definitely what we've put more work into and i dont want to forget abt the fact it needs help too, and we go run off bc this is shiny and new and exciting

I don't see a problem with just getting this idea out to the other members on the side. Let it be known its something we're thinking about, and let plots and ideas get thrown around for a while. But also make it clear it won't come until later in the future while updates are made to tnw first.
