he nodded. "yeah! i quit years ago."

"Alright, good, I was just worried..." He said, looking back up at the other's face. He said quietly, biting his lip, "So... What'd you do after it?"

he shrugged. "worked at a gas station for a while, worked on my coding and then came here."

[peridot.]

"Ah, I see. Is this the first place in the valley that you came to?" He asked, tilting his head and smiling.

he nodded. "guess i got lucky~l
