!! heck yeah!! dogs are super cool and service dogs are the coolest
i considered getting a service dog for a while but there was the whole insecurity of "ok but am i mentally ill/physically disabled ENOUGH"

((also im not super sure about the difference between therapy and service animals)

therapy animals are supposed to come visit people and provide therapy, but do not provide a service and do not live with the person they serve

u 100% qualify for a mobility/psd

service dogs service you in some way (say you have seizures, pass out randomly or can't bend over—a service dog will do those things for you) and therapy dogs are basically alerted to Bad Vibes™ and will alert you on that front! some can live with you though, someone here has a therapy dog that she brings to school
then there's guide dogs for the blind ofc which benjamin is getting one at some point

i have like,,,, really limited mobility so i feel like a service dog would help??? but im not sure how

you can always research what a dog can do for limited mobility! I'm certain that they go and fetch things
Also before you make a decision ever, make sure that you're of course finacially able to take care of another dog, and you can take being the center of attention / take harassment. people harass people with service dogs constantly, especially by distracting their dogs, so if you have something like anxiety be careful :0c

I'm an aggressive protector of service dogs skgslgsl I just wanted to give u the inFO I totally forgot someone else was actually getting a service dog

oof I just hate when they're fake service dogs because someone has a fake service dog and it's constantly terrified and barely behaves well :// like it pooped in a teacher's bag and wonders around class it's terrible

u can actually get a mobility dog to brace against kinda like a cane but. more reliable and easier to brace against.
