These are about a group of kids in a catholic school, ages 14-17 at most. Sent away to stay here as an alternative, they're caught with strict rules and what is supposed to be boring is cast with plenty of rumors about teacher affairs, deadly fights, and one of the most skeptic of ones: the school being haunted. Curious, one night these group of teens sneak out and meet up with each other and use an ouija board. Everything seems fun and games until they begin to get haunted.

— miles gideon segal, often going by simply miles, nothing else. however, his friends usually come up with some pretty interesting nicknames for him as well when it comes down to everything.
— he is a youngin. thirteen years of age, however he might just be wise beyond his years. i mean, he seems to be the great advice teller, although he has trouble following his own advice. he's also very unaware of just how good his advice happens to be. when people say "miles you're a genius!" he's like, "am i really?" but really doesn't know what to do when it comes to himself. was born feburary third.
— so, his mother is divorced to his father, who he has a pretty fair relationship with, however his dad happens to be doing a lot of his own thing. his father always made him uncomfortable because the level of masculinity that he pushed onto him was troubling. wanted him to get into sports and such, that typical thing. his mother is married to her best friend, who now is his stepmom, which should help him feel comfortable with who he is, but he still is nervous about it regardless, especially since his parents are pretty much overbearing and constantly calling, making sure that he's okay. it makes things difficult and the situation so much harder
— has a boxer named benny who he absolutely adores. would like a kitten, loves kittens, but is actually very allergic to kittens
— he is one of those people that likes pineapple pizza.
— oh my gosh, this boy is so beautifully quirky and adorable it is so great. around those he first meets, he is extremely nervous, especially around cute boys that he crushes on but as he gets comfortable around you, he's a great friend who wants to make sure that you're happy and to assure the happiness of others.
— fights between his two friends absolutely freaks him out, he tries to play peacemaker.

— she’s a dreamer and her mother was an immigrant sent back to Puerto Rico when she was away from school and six years old. luckily, she has a super awesome tío who takes her to his bars while he gambles and lets her have secret sips of her moonshine but he’d never let anyone take advantage of her bc he loves her and they’re legit best friends
— believes that her dreams are actual prophesies so it’s led her into doing stupid things and having stupid fears for example, kissing the weird kid on the playground in the 6th grade or not having a driver’s licenses yet because she had about three dreams in a row about running into cars and getting arrested so there’s that
— her and her tío are on a next level friendship to where people feel as if he’s too cool on her behavior but as long as she ain’t doing hardcore drugs, becoming an alcoholic, or dating an yt boy it’s 100/10 okay with him.
