A look of desperation was on the drunken woman's face as she tried to grab at both Finnigan and her daughter. As soon as the younger girl started crying, and Finn felt the hand on his wrist, he jerked his arm away from his mother with fire burning in his eyes. He shoved her back away from the two of them, holding his little sister close with his other arm.
