his words were slurred and when he walked he was unbalanced. he crashed into the wall of the old theater and knocked over the old frames which told which movies were playing. he dropped to his knees when he reached the center of the lobby and smashed the bottle of whiskey he had been holding, feeling the shards in his hand and the blood dripping. he picked what shards he could out before a broken sob echoed off the walls and he threw his hat to the side so he could dig his hands in his hair and tug at it. he sat there, alone, before he fumbled for his phone and calling the one person he could trust in this moment,

casey angst: before like,,, he moved in with his dad in the trailer(thats probs in the future) he was still in the theater. what if he ran out of gas for the generator in the back. and he coudltn get any gas bc the gas stationwas like "bruh no more" or the generator got so cold it just Froze and broke. it's the worst snowfall it's been. he has barely any warmth and he's wrapped up in his thin old blanket in a corner hugging himself at night shivering and teeth chattering. he drives to school freezing nearly to death and walks in hugging himself still. just,,, hugging himself 24/7 bc he's so cold. his lips deadass were blue once.

At night when the castle is lit up beautifully and their about to have the firework show after the parade they have their arms around one another. Jem has his head resting on krys' chest and he's smiling so content. In one of his hands is a giant stuffed animal they won. He looks up at krys and he kisses him; it's soft and sweet, long as well. He loves krys. This boy, right here. He loves him with all his heart. His lips still taste like the cotton candy they had earlier since it melted when it just barely touched his mouth. Sweet, soft.

Everything about krys was soft and sweet, and Jem loved him so much.
