ok so modern au would consist of:
- vox being the shyest of them all. he's a shy painter who's kind of a hermit, and amethyst and sapphire try to get him out of his apartment but they basically have to drag him bc "pls just leave me to paint and cry"
- amethyst being the most upbeat. he is lively photographer and volunteers at animal shelters (only no-kill ones tho), and he's basically a child. you take your eye off him for not even a second and he's gone, chasing a butterfly or a dog.
- sapphire being the lovely mix between the two. she is the glue that holds the family together, and she is hilarious and strong and just so so amazing. i dunno what her job would be, but she's the freaking best at it, and her coworkers, if she has any, are always asking for her help and praising her.
- the three of them being really close and living really close to each other; sapphire and amethyst might even live together, maybe not, but they all live within the same city (probs nyc, los angeles, san francisco, or some other big city).

SHIT MAN!! so i'm think beck is at least 6 foot??? so maybe 6'2" or 6'3". eustacia is definitely the smaller one in the relationship.
and then dany is probably like 5'10" or 11?? like he's not super short but he's not super tall?? isn't roslyn like 6 foot something?? so roslyn is definetely the taller on the relationship.
