some notes about michaelis and gage;

- Michaelis met Gage after Gage had hurt one of Michaelis' group members. Gage had come to apologize after realizing what he had done, and Michaelis had forgiven him after beating the shit out of him and keeping him under heavy surveillance. However, over time, Gage became a welcome addition to the group and earned his way up through the ranks and eventually to Michaelis' heart.

- Michaelis was far more soft when with Gage. He was still a cocky, sarcastic shit, but a lovable cocky sarcastic shit that wasn't as outright aggressive and was far more passive when he was with Gage. He always said that Gage "sucked the masculinity out of him like some man-vamp", which is, in its own right, true - the Michaelis we see now is very tough and gritty and not very feminine at all, but with Gage he was soft and attentive and patient.

- Gage and him lived partially alone in their own cabin within their group's territory, trying to make a life of their own while sticking to their roots.

- They had plans to start some kind of a pseudo family together before Gage left. If Gage hadn't left, ideally Michaelis would've already been settled and making plans to adopt a bunch of kids.

- Gage was taken by his own group involuntarily, and Michaelis was in a deep depression after he'd left, to the point where just before Michael left to take over ND he pushed Gage far, far out of his mind until he barely thought of him anymore. This contributes to the 360 Michaelis took with his personality, and it might have been him unconsciously trying to model himself after Gadreel so he wouldn't be hurt again (he had no idea that Gage was forced to leave).

- Now, when he thinks of lovers, he thinks of someone like Gadreel, someone who can be strong for him and take some of the weight off of his shoulders so he can be himself again. He's reluctant to be with someone who is sensitive because it's too much like him for the dynamic to work properly. He's mentioned more than once that "he likes a challenge" or "someone who can rival him in the pride department". He's more of an alpha/alpha guy that challenges the usual dom/sub partnership some people have going on.

He's literally a hopeless romantic at heart and would belt his ass out singing "Your Song", even if he is really really bad at it.

Tbh, he probably knew what the song was before the blackout and sung it to his girlfriend when he was fourteen trying to impress her as best as he possibly could.

Over the years his imitation of a brit's accent got better and better until it cemented completely and it's a lot harder to actually find the subtle undertones of his actual accent. Once he speaks Danish (he hasn't very much since his mother died) it becomes a lot more pronounced.

He's a fucking mermaid.

He changed it to Michaelis because he liked being named after an archangel, and his mother went along with it out of pity.

Michaelis himself isn't the biological son of his step-father (whom he grew up with). Being the last child, his mother had him during a rough time in their relationship where she had stepped away for work in the UK and ended up meeting Michaelis' actual dad.

I imagine his mother (Ada Alvisio) looked like Yvonne Strahovski due to her more down-turned nose and blond hair and blue eyes combo ; his biological father probably looked far more like him, but his step-dad (Alfred Alivisio)'s fc is Luca Dotto because in my heart he's a very very italian man and he probably grows shitty mustaches just to twirl it in his finger and always bought his eldest son Gavin Mario games just to screw with him.

Gavin looked like Nick Wechsler and his sister Bella is basically Rachael Taylor.

His twin is played by Lena Headey. But without the incest.

The youngest sibling is up for debate on how they act/look like, since Michaelis doesn't have many memories of them (meaning that they were younger when the blackout happened).

I would think that if Michaelis is 35, that would've made him 14 when the blackout happened, and his brother would've been 18, so rn he's 39. That makes Bella 37, so 16 when everything started. His twin is Michaelis' age (duh) and their younger sibling could've been 8? so that would make them 29.
