[spoiler=tw - abuse, conversion therapy]so ketty' parents find out she and riya are dating, like that's an established thing and she runs away to prevent herself from getting hurt by her parents and is mia for weeks like yeah. so either as an au or when the squad finds her and she comes home, her parents force her into conversion therapy because again they are extremely homophobic and she has no contact with the outside world because it's at like a group home or some psych ward. and the tactics used are very anusive like there is a lot of bad stuff happening and she gets like released or whatever and has t necessarily reverted back to her state before she came out but she shies away from the entire squad and gets really jumpy around people and avoids eye contact (especially when it comes to riya) and just things at home are no better than before and are a lot worse probs
